Oil transportation through Caspian pipeline surges
RBC, 12.01.2005, Moscow 12:09:30.Oil transportation through the system of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) in 2004 increased 1.52 times to 22.5m tons from 2003, the company reported. The annual pumping volume is expected to reach 32m tons this year. Some 2.76m tons of oil were pumped through the system in December. At present, shareholders in CPC are agreeing upon the details of expanding the system's capacity.
