BRIEFLY RBC, 16.01.2008, Moscow 10:57:16. – Transneft completed an additional share issue on Tuesday to ensure a merger with Transnefteproduct, the Russian pipeline producer announced in a statement today. The company placed 882,220 common shares worth a total of nearly RUB 52.554bn (approx. USD 2.164bn). As reported earlier, the issue will be fully paid for by Transnefteproduct's government-owned shares.
